STEFAN MILENKOVICH & MARKO HATLAK TANGO COMPÁS

STEFAN MILENKOVIĆ & MARKO HATLAK TANGO COMPÁS

Stefan Milenkovich, a violinist of world renown who had secured his place on concert stages already when very young as a child prodigy, and Marko Hatlak, a versatile Slovenian concert accordionist, have joined forces and their passion for tango to form the vibrant duo Stefan Milenkovich & Marko Hatlak TANGO COMPÁS. Compás is a Spanish word for musical beat, the essential pulse behind music. This project explores tango comps - its intense, dark beauty and passion. But tango contains so much more: an incredible range of energetic expression - including sound and movement - that perhaps holds the key to what it means to be human. The communication between man and a woman, our weakness and our strengths, the struggle between good and evil, reconciliation of mind, body and spirit - all of these timeless subjects are represented in tango compás that has given them inspiration for this musical journey.

Ivan Jelić_tenor

IVAN JELIĆ

Ivan Jelić is a tenor that leaves breathless everyone who has the opportunity to hear his voice. He left everyone speechless at his concert „Ethno Remake by Ivan Jelić“ in KD Lisinski by performing vocal and instrumental covers of traditional ethno melodies from South Eastern Europe. Best indicator of his quality is certainly the cooperation with world-known lute virtuoso Edin Karamazov in Zenica. He wants to give a new shine with best interpretation of old folk song through his musical opus and adapt them to his own way of understanding music.

MASCARA Quartet

KVARTET MASCARA

The storm of passion and the peace of the ocean, which rests somewhere amid the Iberian Peninsula, South America and their rich folklore, is the musical muse that connects Polona, Timi, Vojko and Mitja. Mascara explores the space inside and outside of the field of classical music; cautiously, respectfully, it colors over the line with a brush of tense strings and the warmth of human voice. Their first recently release CD "Mascara", excellent response of the audiences and of music critics as well, impressive number of near 40 concerts which took place from the beginning of the year 2012 makes them become really desirable music guests. At the very beginning of their concerts - in concert halls, sacred venues, clubs or at open space performances either - some secret connection between listeners, the perfect harmony of three fantastic guitars and passionate Polona's voice full of emotions has been established.
